Cyber Resilience

An organization's ability to keep operating and recover quickly during and after a cyberattack.

·1 min read

Cyber resilience is an organization's ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from a cyberattack while continuing to deliver its core functions. It goes beyond prevention, accepting that some incidents are inevitable and focusing on minimizing damage and downtime when they happen.

Building cyber resilience means combining strong defenses with tested incident response plans, reliable backups, and redundancy in critical systems, so that even a successful attack doesn't bring the whole organization to a halt.
