This page explains how to use the SecAIQ logo and brand elements consistently, correctly, and respectfully. Our goal is for the brand to stay recognizable everywhere it appears, and to prevent misuse.
What the name means
Sec stands for Security, the discipline of protecting the accounts, devices, and data people rely on every day.
AI stands for Artificial Intelligence, the other half of what we cover, since staying safe today means understanding both classic cybersecurity↗ and the new risks (and benefits) that AI tools introduce.
IQ stands for Intelligence, not a claim about cleverness, but a statement of intent: we want every guide, tool, and glossary entry to raise the reader's own security and AI-safety judgment a little, one practical step at a time.
Put together, SecAIQ is shorthand for what the whole platform is trying to do: take two fields that are usually explained separately, security and AI, and make the intelligence behind both available to everyone, not just specialists.
Our logo
The primary logo is a wordmark: "Sec" and "Q" in solid navy, with "AI" set in our brand gradient. This is the primary form of the logo, used in headers, documents, and official materials. There is no separate icon-only emblem; where a small square mark is needed (such as a favicon), use a simplified, legible version of the same wordmark.
Where and for what purpose it's used
- To credit SecAIQ as the source in articles, presentations, or training materials.
- For attribution in news coverage, articles, or social media posts that link to SecAIQ content.
- In partnerships, events, and announcements, provided permission has been obtained in advance.
The logo may not be used in a way that implies SecAIQ endorses a product, service, or opinion. Attribution and endorsement are not the same thing.
Brand colors
The core colors of the logo and brand are below. Use the HEX values for digital use.
- Navy (primary text / "Sec" and "Q"): #002562
- Cyber blue (gradient start): #00AAE3
- Teal (gradient end): #00CBB8
The brand gradient used across the site runs:
- Primary gradient: #00AAE3 → #00CBB8
Typography
The brand typeface is Poppins. Its clean, geometric letterforms give the brand a modern, friendly, and highly legible feel appropriate for a platform aimed at a general audience.
Clear space and minimum size
- Clear space: Leave empty space around the logo equal to at least half the height of the wordmark. No other graphic, text, or border should enter that space.
- Minimum size: For legibility, don't use the wordmark narrower than 120 pixels wide.
Background usage
- Use the logo primarily on white or light backgrounds.
- On dark backgrounds, use a white/light version and ensure sufficient contrast.
- Avoid placing the logo over busy patterns or low-contrast images.
Common misuses
The following break the integrity of the logo and are not acceptable:
- Stretching, squeezing, or rotating it in a way that distorts its proportions.
- Recoloring it outside the brand colors, or altering the gradient.
- Adding effects like drop shadows, outlines, or glows.
- Separating the wordmark from the gradient styling or changing the typeface.
- Using a low-resolution, blurry, or redrawn copy.
- Using the logo in place of a word within a sentence.
