These terms apply to SecAIQ Watch ("the app"), a desktop application for macOS (a Windows version is in development and will be covered by an updated version of these terms when it is released), and to the annual license you buy for it. Effective 15 October 2026. By downloading, activating or using the app you accept these terms. The privacy practices of the app are described in the Privacy Policy and refunds in the Refund Policy.
1. What the app is
SecAIQ Watch shows which AI tools run on your Mac, what they can access and which network destinations they contact. It is a read-only monitoring tool: it observes and reports, and it does not block, change or stop anything on its own. It runs on your computer, and the data it collects stays on your computer.
2. Free trial
The app includes a 14-day free trial with full access. No card and no account are needed. When the trial ends, the app locks until you activate a license. The data already collected stays on your computer.
3. License
When you buy a license we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the app on one Mac at a time, for personal or business use, for as long as your subscription is active. A license key is emailed to you after payment. If you move to a new computer, deactivate the license in the app (Settings, License, Deactivate on this Mac) and activate it on the new computer; this can be done a limited number of times per year. The app is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights in the app that are not expressly granted here.
4. Annual subscription and payment
- The price shown at checkout (currently USD 19.99 per year, taxes where applicable) covers one license for one Mac for one year.
- The subscription renews automatically every year until you cancel.
- Our order process is run by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments handles payment, invoicing, taxes and refunds. Your purchase is also subject to the terms shown at checkout by Dodo Payments.
- We may change the price for future renewals. We will tell you in advance, and a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the app (Settings, Manage subscription) or through the link in your Dodo Payments receipt. After you cancel, the license stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. If a payment fails or the subscription ends, the app stops accepting the license after a short grace period and goes back to the locked state. Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.
6. Updates
While your license is active you receive the app's updates. The app can check for new versions and update itself. Every update is verified with a cryptographic signature and you are asked once whether to check automatically.
7. Acceptable use
You may not copy, share, resell or publish your license key, bypass or tamper with the licensing or update checks, reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it, or use the app to monitor computers that you do not own or are not authorized to administer. You are responsible for having the right to monitor the computer you use it on.
8. What the app can and cannot do
SecAIQ Watch reports what it can observe on your computer. It cannot see everything, and it does not guarantee that your computer or your AI tools are secure or free of risk. Findings and scores are guidance. Please review them and decide for yourself what to change.
9. No warranty and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and reliable, but we do not promise that it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data or lost profits arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
10. Ending the license
We may end a license if you seriously break these terms, for example by sharing a key or tampering with the licensing. If a license is refunded or the subscription ends, the license stops working.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its effective date. If a change is significant, we will say so on the app's page.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction, without limiting any rights you have under mandatory consumer law in the country where you live.
